Opportunity International Savings and Loans (OISL), a leading financial institution in the country on 24th August, 2023 officially opened its newly constructed modern branch at Goaso in the Ahafo Region. The newly constructed branch has modern designs and facilities that prioritizes on customer convenience and the provision of world class transformational banking services. Present at the event were Mr. Katey Assem, Board Chairman of OISL, Mr. Kwasi Yirenkyi, Board Member of OISL, Mr. Kwame Owusu-Boateng, CEO of OISL, Mr. Mohammed Yakubu, Municipal Coordinating Director, Asunafo North Municipal Assembly (who represented the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Yaw Osei Boahen). In attendance was also, Right Rev. Christopher K. Dadson, Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana, Goaso Diocese, Alhaji Abdulai Yussif, Chief Imam, Goaso, representatives from the regional Fire Service and the banking fraternity, Staff and Management of OISL. The special guest of honor for the program was Nana Kwasi Bosomprah I, the Paramount Chief of Goaso and President of the Goaso Traditional Council. Mr. Kwame Owusu-Boateng, the CEO of OISL in his speech highlighted the importance of the new edifice to both clients and the community at large.
He noted that the new facility marked a significant milestone in the company’s journey, reinforcing OISL’s continual commitment to its clients and the people of Ahafo region.
He expressed his profound gratitude to clients and valued stakeholders of the company for their unwavering support over the Eleven years that the company has operated in the region promoting financial inclusion that integrates clients at the base of the pyramid into the mainstream financial services using innovative range of products and offerings.
The special guest of honor for the occasion, Nana Kwasi Bosomprah I, Paramount Chief of Goaso extended his appreciation to the Board and Management of OISL for choosing to invest and establishing Opportunity International savings and loans in his community. This act, according to him, symbolized the company’s dedication to fostering financial inclusivity and empowerment. Nana Kwasi Bosomprah I further invited other potential investors to follow the exemplary path set by Opportunity International. He emphasized that his doors were always opened for partnerships that align with the principles of progress and development.
Mr. Katey Assem, Board Chairman of Opportunity International savings and loans, who was also the chairman of the occasion in his closing remarks admonished all present to note that every brick laid represented the hopes and dreams of the communities that Opportunity International serve and also as a symbol of prosperity, partnership and progress in creating opportunities for All.
